Wildstrubel by UTMB in Adelboden
A weekend packed with trail running: at Wildstrubel by UTMB, from 10th to 13th September 2026, trail runners from all over the world come together to tackle the challenging routes through the mountains between Adelboden and the Valais. Whether you’re taking part or not, this event is a MUST-SEE – the athletes’ enthusiasm, the stunning mountain scenery and the unique atmosphere make watching the race an experience in itself.
"The Singing Pilots"
This summer (1 July–8 August 2026), a piece of local history will come to life in Frutigen: “The Singing Pilots” tells the story of the internees during the Second World War, when around 600 American and 700 British soldiers were quartered in Adelboden. It tells a moving, gripping and at times humorous story of war, hope, poverty and unexpected encounters, in which even the Adler will feature in the stage design.
