Over the past 37 years or so, the Adler Adelboden has established itself as an integral part of Adelboden. In order to be able to continue to offer an exciting overall programme for guests and locals alike and to act as an attractive employer and reliable partner in the region, Hotel Adler AG is once again planning extensive investments amounting to several million Swiss francs.
Our project for the future
The Adler Adelboden in the heart of the Lohner village stands for authentic hospitality and quality.
In the past, trend-setting investments have been realised time and again. We remain true to this path and are writing the next chapter in several stages.
Strongly rooted
The first stage
The first stage is scheduled for completion in spring 2026. The kitchen and the neighbouring Adlerstube will be completely renovated over a period of around ten weeks. At the same time, modern staff rooms will be created and the ancillary rooms, including laundry facilities, will be reorganised. The building services will also be modernised: In addition to replacing the existing cooling system and other measures to increase efficiency, the ventilation system will be adapted to meet current operating requirements.
If everything goes according to plan, the Adler Adelboden will remain closed from 22 March to 29 May 2026 so that the work can be carried out quickly and without restrictions for guests.

Abbruch & Aufbruch.
Damit Neues entstehen kann, muss Altes weichen. Die Abbrucharbeiten erfolgen in kürzester Zeit. Die Bauzeit ist knapp bemessen – jeder Handgriff zählt.
Neue vertikale Wege.
Durch den Liftschacht unseres Warenlifts entsteht künftig eine interne Treppe, während ein neuer Lift im ehemaligen Fluchttreppenhaus das 2. Untergeschoss mit dem 3. Obergeschoss verbindet. Solche besonderen Wege verlangen nach massgeschneiderten Lösungen.

Mit der Adler-Stube entsteht ein Raum voller Kraft und Eleganz. Durch die Welt der Farben und Materialien führt uns unsere Innenarchitektin Francesca Adler.
Keine alltägliche Ankunft.
Die Elektroinstallateure sind angekommen und haben im Hintergrund bereits mit dem Leitungsbau begonnen. Bei so viel Gepäck ist klar: Sie bleiben wohl etwas länger.

Der Start im Hintergrund
Der Adler Adelboden ist noch bis zum 22. März 2026 geöffnet. Während der Betrieb weiterläuft, haben im Hintergrund bereits die ersten Arbeiten begonnen – diskret, leise und ohne Einschränkungen für unsere Gäste. Los geht’s!

Bye bye laundry
Due to the reorganization of the ancillary rooms, our in-house laundry is disappearing. In future, our laundry will be processed at the industrial laundry in Interlaken. Only laundry sorting and washing of small quantities will continue to take place in-house. This is another step towards efficiency and the future.

The next stages
Further investments in the wellness area are planned for the coming years. An attractive spa area should strengthen the coherent overall offer and consolidate the position as an established hotel in the resort. We are thus sending out a clear signal in favour of a contemporary hotel industry and are actively contributing to the destination's year-round strategy by expanding and renewing the spa offer.
