Career selection morning in Adelboden - A look at the most exciting industry in the world
On Wednesday morning, 17 September 2025, the career presentation took place in the Adelboden sports hall. Numerous companies from the region presented their apprenticeships - and we were able to be there too.
Our apprentices gave the young people an insight into the many different aspects of the hotel industry:
Thierry Gsponer (EFZ chef in training) conjured up delicious dishes together with the pupils - in compliance with fire safety guidelines, of course ;) .
Jana Hari (EFZ hotel communication specialist in training) reported directly from everyday life at reception and answered many questions.
Luisa Oester (trainee restaurant specialist EFZ) mixed non-alcoholic cocktails, which were then savoured with pleasure.
A morning full of discoveries - and perhaps the first step towards a future that will enrich our industry with new talent.
Three young eagles take flight!
Full of drive and curiosity, our new apprentices began their training just a few days ago. We look forward to a successful start, exciting experiences, and many enriching learning moments.

Salome Gauch has successfully completed her qualification procedure as a restaurant specialist with a federal certificate and it is a great pleasure for us to be able to continue to count her among the A-Team! We congratulate her wholeheartedly and are proud of her!
Salome at the NextGen. Hospitality Camp
The NextGen. Hospitality Camp is a special program within the Hospitality Summit, aimed at Generation Z. These young, creative minds will soon bring new ideas to the industry and take on responsibility. During the camp, 24 participants worked on three projects over five days. Their task was to develop innovative ideas and create successful concepts. At the Hospitality Summit, they presented their solutions, shared their experiences, and talked about what motivated them.
We are especially pleased that our third-year Restaurant Specialist apprentice, Salome Gauch, had the opportunity to participate in the NextGen. Hospitality Camp. This provided her with a valuable opportunity to showcase her creativity and innovation and to benefit from the experiences of other young talents. We are extremely proud!
